De week
laat een waterscheiding zien tussen de VS en China (de Taiwan deal,
de strafmaatregelen tegen een Chinese bank vanwege Noord-Korea
deals), de VS en Qatar (Saudi's nemen en passant ook Soedan en
Turkije mee in conflict om regionale macht). De VS maakt vrienden met
India, bekrachtigd band met Riyad (en GCC) en Tapei.
Veel

Voor de
komende week staat in Nederland een onderzeebootoverleg op de agenda
van de Tweede Kamer. De marine wil grote onderzeeboten die
vermoedelijk zo'n miljard per stuk gaan kosten. Zowel om de vorm als
kosten zal deze week heen gedraaid worden. De politiek gaat al wel
grotendeels met de plannen mee. Oppositie is er nauwelijks. In week27
